Load shedding - sigh! Bad internet -sigh! Horrible postal service - sigh!
Yes - as you can see, I have gotten a really nice introduction to South Africa. No worries though, I am not about to pack up and go back to the land of no load shedding, good internet, and speedy postal service.
No way! Rather, I am starting to pray for Eskom, Telkom, and the postal service. Why should I allow that to get me upset and to frustrate me? And - why should I accept this restriction?
I am a born again child of God, and I have got the King of Kings on my side. My Lord Jesus can do anything. He who lives in me is greater than he who is in this world!
It's time for us believers to rise up and shine. It's time for us to make a difference in this world.
So... what has that got to do with Eskom?
A lot! Why should we get mad at them if we could just decree God's anointing, power, and wisdom on them so that all those systems in this world bend to the will of God?
You know what - the systems in this world that the enemy thinks he has control over can be used to our advantage. In order for us as believers to do effective warfare in this world, we don't have to go tear it down but rather use the authority the Lord has given and bend it to the will of God so it can be used to our advantage.
Apostle Colette preached such a powerful message on this topic. I tell you - when we dialed in to listen in as she preached it live, it was way past midnight here in South Africa. But, to us, it didn't matter. We had a whole glory, hallelujah prayer time afterwards till late because we were so fired up and ready to take this land!

P.S. Yes, it is possible! Eskom will get it right, the internet will get faster, and the postal service will become reliable!
